Margate Harbour Arm Re-opens to the Public - 24th May 2008

To celebrate the re-opening of the Margate Harbour Arm to the public after its refurbishment, and the opening of Gallery IOTA, there will be a day of events on Saturday 24th May, 2008.  The event starts at midday and finishes with the fireworks display at approximately 10pm.  For more information on the programme of events and the Harbour Arm Project, please visit www.margateharbourarm.co.uk

Margate's Shell Ladies Out 'n' About - 25th & 26th May 2008

Work has started on the casting of the bronze Shell Lady which will be installed on the Harbour Arm in September 2008.  As part of this innovative project twelve seven foot Shell Ladies will be making an appearance in the Margate Old Town over the bank holiday (25th and 26th May, 2008).  For further information visit www.TheShellLady.co.uk
